This recruitment will fill Customer Service Associate (clerical cadre) vacancies for the financial year 2027-28 in 11 participating Public Sector Banks across India.

Category-wise reservation (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/UR) and PwBD/ESM sub-quotas are given bank-wise in Annexure-I of the notification. Final allotment will be based on actual vacancies reported by banks.
Important: Recruitment is done State/UT-wise. A candidate can apply for vacancies in any ONE State/UT only, and the choice once made is irrevocable.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality
A candidate must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries — with a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India where applicable.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026)

- Candidate must have been born between 02.08.1998 and 01.08.2006 (both dates inclusive)

SC/ST/OBC relaxation can be combined cumulatively with only one of the other relaxations.
3. Educational Qualification (as on 21.08.2026)
- Graduation degree in any discipline from a Government-recognized University (or equivalent). The result must have been declared on or before 21.08.2026.
- Candidate must indicate the percentage of Graduation marks (CGPA converted to percentage per university norms). Fractions are ignored — 59.99% counts as less than 60%.
- Computer Literacy is mandatory — a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/language, OR Computer/IT studied as a subject in High School/College.
- Local language proficiency: Candidates should be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the opted local language of the State/UT they apply for (e.g., Telugu or Urdu for Andhra Pradesh).
- Ex-Servicemen without a graduation degree: matriculate ESM with Army Special Certificate of Education (or Navy/Air Force equivalent) after 15+ years of service qualify.

Payment is online only (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, UPI, Wallets). Fee once paid is non-refundable. Bank transaction charges are borne by the candidate. Edit Window correction fee: ₹200 (all categories).
Selection Process
Selection is a two-tier online examination followed by provisional allotment:
- Online Preliminary Examination — qualifying + shortlisting for Mains
- Online Main Examination — marks considered for final merit
- Provisional Allotment — merit-cum-preference basis to one of the participating banks
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) — qualifying, conducted after Mains/allotment but before joining (waived if candidate produces 10th standard or above marksheet showing they studied the opted local language)
There is no interview for the CSA post.

Each section is separately timed. Candidates must clear cut-off marks in each of the three tests.

Negative Marking
0.25 marks (one-fourth) deducted for each wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains. No penalty for unattempted questions.
Medium of Examination
Besides English and Hindi, the exam is available in regional languages based on the State/UT applied for. For Andhra Pradesh, the test is available in English, Hindi and Telugu. Scores across sessions are normalized using the equi-percentile method.
Only Main Examination marks count for the final merit list (converted out of 100 for provisional allotment). Ties are broken by date of birth (senior placed higher).
Salary (Pay Scale)

Starting basic pay is ₹24,050, plus allowances and perquisites (DA, HRA, etc.) as per the rules of the allotted bank — gross monthly salary typically works out substantially higher.

- Click "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" and enter basic details. Note the provisional registration number and password (also sent via Email/SMS).
- Upload the following as per specifications (Annexure IV):
- Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm, 20–50 KB)
- Signature (10–20 KB, not in capital letters)
- Left thumb impression (20–50 KB)
- Handwritten declaration in English (50–100 KB)
- SSC/SSLC/10th certificate (PDF, max 500 KB)
- Live photo capture via webcam/mobile
- Fill the form carefully — Name, Email, Mobile Number, State/UT, Post and Nationality cannot be edited later, even in the Edit Window.
- Select the State/UT for vacancy, medium of exam, local language for LLPT, and order of bank preferences — all irrevocable.
- Pay the fee online and take a printout of the e-receipt and application form (do not send to IBPS).
DigiLocker integration is available on a voluntary basis for document verification.

Key Points to Remember
- Only one application per candidate; multiple applications forfeit earlier fees.
- Ration Card and Learner's Driving License are not valid ID proof.
- Signature/handwritten declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS will be rejected.
- Candidates using a scribe must register for it in the application form itself; scribe qualification must be one step below the candidate's.
- PET (Pre-Examination Training) available online for SC/ST/OBC/Minority/ESM/PwBD candidates who opt for it.
- A reserve list of approximately 30% of vacancies per category may be maintained, valid for one year.
- Twin/triplet siblings must be declared under Twin Status in the form.
