Which wildlife sanctuary in Madhya Pradesh is being developed as the second home for cheetahs in India after Kuno National Park?

The Madhya Pradesh government has recently made preparations to keep cheetahs in the Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary, which will be the second home for cheetahs in India after Kuno National Park (KNP).

Let us tell you that on September 17, 2022, 8 Namibian cheetahs were released in enclosures in KNP in Sheopur district of MP. Later 12 more cheetahs were brought from South Africa.

Gandhi Sagar Wildlife Sanctuary was notified in the year 1974, which is situated on the border of Rajasthan.
