Which edition of JIMEX exercise is being held in the year 2024?

Recently, JIMEX Exercise–24 is being held in Yokosuka, Japan. This is the eighth edition of JIMEX, which started in 2012.

This exercise includes both harbour and sea phase exercises.

Indian Navy’s indigenous stealth frigate INS Shivalik is participating in this bilateral maritime exercise.

On the other hand, guided missile destroyer JS Yugiri is participating from Japan’s side.
