What is the target of tree plantation set by the Air Quality Management Commission in NCR?

The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) has set a target of planting 4.5 crore trees for the entire National Capital Region, NCR during the financial year 2024-25 by various concerned bodies in the NCR State Governments.

Last year, a target of planting around 3.85 crore new trees was set across the NCR, out of which around 3.6 crore trees were successfully planted during the year.
