DRDO partnered with Pune’s Sagar Defence Engineering to develop India’s first underwater-launched UAVs (ULUAVs).

These innovative drones, to be deployed from submarines, mark a significant advancement in India’s underwater military capabilities.

Sagar Defence was chosen through competitive bidding, receiving the contract from DRDO’s Technology Development Fund out of 17 firms.
