b

Rs. 5, 30,000

c

Rs. 84,500

d

Rs. 4, 34,400

e

None of these

Answer : Option D
Explanation :

Let Sophia’s monthly salary be Rs. x.

According to the question,

Sophia’s percentage monthly

expenditure = (25 + 15 + 35)%

= 75%

Savings per cent

= 100 – 75 = 25%

∴ 25% of x = 9050

25×x100=9050x4=9050Rightarrow frac{25 imes x}{100}=9050 Rightarrow frac{x}{4}=9050

x=9050×4=Rightarrow x=9050 imes 4= Rs. 36200

∴ Sophia’s annual income

= Rs. (12 × 36200) = Rs.

434400
