In which city did President Murmu participate in the Safai Mitra Sammelan, held as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva—2024 campaign?

President Droupadi Murmu attended the Safai Mitra Sammelan in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on 19 September 2024.

The Safai Mitra Sammelan was organized as part of the fortnightly Swachhata Hi Seva—2024 campaign launched by the Government of India.

This year’s campaign focuses on honoring sanitation workers’ contributions to the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav were also present at the event.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar inaugurated the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign on 17 September 2024 in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan.

The campaign was launched as a prelude to Swachh Bharat Diwas on 2 October 2024.
