a

6.5

b

5.5

c

d

6.0

Answer : Option D
Explanation :

Total C.P. =240×4812==frac{240 imes 48}{12}= Rs. 960

SP for a gain of 25%=960×125100=25 \%=frac{960 imes 125}{100}= Rs. 1200

Amount received on half of bananas at Rs. 5 per

banana = 120 × 5 = Rs. 600

Remaining bananas =120×56=100=120 imes frac{5}{6}=100

S.P. of these 100 bananas = Rs. 600

∴ Rate = Rs. 6 per banana
