Harmattan blows in Sahara desert from

The warm and dry winds blowing from northeast and east to west in the eastern parts of Sahara desert are called harmattan. The wind typically carries large amounts of dust. It blows from the Sahara Desert into the Gulf of Guinea between the end of November and the middle of March (winter).
