Land and sea breeze have great influence on

the temperature of coastal areas or areas with

adjacent large water bodies. A sea breeze blows

from the ocean over the land during the day,

whereas a land breeze blows from the land to the

ocean during the night. While, the sea breeze

brings cooler air to coastal areas, land breeze regulates the temperature by keeping cooler air

present over land and relatively warmer air located over water.
