The deficiency of vitamin A causes

Nyctalopia (night blindness) is a condition making it difficult or impossible to see in relatively low light. It is one of the first signs of Vitamin A deficiency. Xerophthalmia, keratomalacia, and complete blindness can also occur since Vitamin A has a major role in phototransduction.
