The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has launched a nationwide ’Students for Soldiers:

Union Minister for Human Resource and Development, Prakash Javadekar, in May 2017, launched Students for soldiers- a nationwide Vidya – Veerta Abhiyan to encourage Universities and educational institutions across the country to display portraits of Param Veer Chakradecorated soldiers. The Param Veer Chakra (PVC) is India’s highest military decoration.
