Major state-wise allocations include Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank (1,200 OA + 425 Scale-I), Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank (900 OA + 400 Scale-I), Gujarat Gramin Bank (510 OA + 600 Scale-I), Bihar Gramin Bank (500 OA + 394 Scale-I) and Odisha Grameen Bank (375 Scale-I). Vacancies are indicative; provisional allotment will be made on actual vacancies reported by the RRBs.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with intent to permanently settle in India (categories other than Indian citizens need an eligibility certificate from the Government of India).

Local Language: For Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant, candidates who studied the state language up to Class VIII or above are considered proficient. Those not meeting this get 6 months from joining to acquire proficiency. For Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank the prescribed language is Telugu; Telangana Grameena Bank – Telugu/Urdu.

Selection Process
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Prelims → Mains → Provisional Allotment (no interview; allotment on Mains marks and state vacancies).
- Officer Scale-I: Prelims → Mains → Interview → Provisional Allotment.
- Officer Scale-II & III: Single Online Exam → Interview → Provisional Allotment.
- Interview carries 100 marks (minimum 40%; 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD). Online Exam : Interview weightage = 80:20 for Officer posts.
- Interviews will be coordinated by Nodal RRBs with assistance of NABARD and IBPS in January/February 2027.

Negative Marking: 0.25 mark (one-fourth) deducted for each wrong answer in all exams. No penalty for unanswered questions.
Exam Medium (AP/Telangana): For Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I, tests are available in English, Hindi and Telugu in Andhra Pradesh, and English, Hindi, Telugu and Urdu in Telangana.
How to Apply for IBPS RRB XV 2026
- Visit www.ibps.in and click on the CRP RRBs XV link for Office Assistant or Officer.
- Register with basic details to get provisional registration number and password.
- Keep scanned copies ready: photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and Class 10 certificate (as per Annexure-III guidelines).
- Fill the application carefully — category and key fields cannot be changed after the Edit Window closes.
- Pay the fee online (₹175/₹850) and submit before 21 September 2026.
- A 2-day Edit Window after registration closure allows corrections (with edit payment where applicable).
A candidate can apply for Office Assistant and one Officer post (Scale-I or II or III only — not more than one officer scale), with separate applications and fees.
Pre-Exam Training (PET)
Free online Pre-Examination Training will be arranged for SC/ST/OBC/Minority/ESM/PwBD candidates (OA post) and SC/ST/OBC/Minority candidates (Officer Scale-I). Opt for PET in the online application form.
Key Points to Remember
- Prelims call letters will be authenticated at the venue and must be retained for the Mains stage along with the stamped ID proof copy.
- Results of graduation must be declared on or before 21.09.2026; CGPA must be converted to percentage as per university norms (59.99% is treated as below 60%).
- EWS candidates need a valid Income & Asset Certificate (family income below ₹8 lakh, subject to asset exclusions).
- CRP RRBs XV validity expires one year after provisional allotment or on fresh allotment, whichever is earlier.
