ποΈ What is SSC Selection Posts Phase-XIV?
Every year, various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Organisations report isolated vacancies (posts that are too few to justify a standalone exam) to the Staff Selection Commission. SSC clubs all such vacancies together and conducts a single recruitment drive called "Selection Posts" examination. Phase-XIV is the fourteenth edition of this recruitment cycle, covering the year 2026.
This year's drive is particularly large with 3,003 vacancies across 382 post categories, making it one of the biggest SSC recruitments announced this year. Posts range from entry-level Multi-Tasking Staff and Medical Attendants to mid-level Surveyors, Junior Engineers, Nursing Officers, and Scientific Assistants.
The beauty of this exam is its accessibility β candidates who have passed just Class 10 can apply for many posts, while 12th-pass and graduate candidates have an even wider range of options. All posts are permanent Central Government positions carrying 7th Pay Commission salaries, pension benefits, and All India Service Liability.
